Meet adoptable deaf dog Paisley who is looking for a loving forever home where she will be cherished with someone who will be committed to her for the rest of her life and always keep her safe.

From her current caregiver: Paisley is a 4-5 year old red nose pit bull terrier. We think she might have a little mixed in but we aren’t sure. She is mostly white with brown spots and has one blue eye and one brown eye. Paisley is the sweetest chunky pit bull you will ever meet. She has good energy but loves to sleep all day. She loves her around the block walks and is beyond amazing around kids. However when we adopted her we were unprepared for her being deaf as the shelter we adopted her from had no idea. She gets along well with all humans no matter what size. She has an issue around other dogs and tends to latch and attack at the neck. We got a puppy in hopes that she would mellow out around dogs. We thought she was doing fine as the 2 girls got along quite well. My other puppy is a shepherd pit bull mix 4 months old and as tall as she is and they never fight aggressively always nipping at most. We don’t understand why she attacks other dogs and where we live and our schedule we don’t have the ability to be with her more and adjust her better to other dogs. We love her dearly and really would love for someone to care for her like we do. I hate the thought of sending her to another family as if we no longer want her but the reality is we can’t take care of her in the way she needs. We want someone to be able to care for her the way she needs to be.
