Meet adoptable deaf 2 year old Maxine who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her and always keep her safe.

From her caregiver: Maxine is two years old as of July 1 2019.  She is spayed, up to date on shots and she is on Trifexus for heart worm prevention. She is great with children of all ages. She has been around children from newborn-14. She does have crate anxiety. We took her in from a bad situation where it seemed that she was a bait dog. She had scars all over her and her fur and she was stained badly.

Maxine is a very spunky girl and plays well with other animals but she is a feisty dog. She often tries to be the dominant one in our dog pack and our male does not allow it. With our life being so busy My husband and I can’t supervise the dogs constantly when they go out to potty and her issues with him have grown. She will most likely fit well in a one pet home or a home with 1 other dog. We have 4 and I think it’s just too much for her. She has been an amazing companion and she loves to cuddle.

Maxine is house trained and knows some sign cues but with our pack being so big, she just follows the other dogs when they follow commands. She needs a forever home with a family that will love her and take her to do things. She loves car rides, boat rides, beach days, parks, etc. she will literally go anywhere. Her favorite thing is frozen yogurt. She is a family dog and would do best in a family setting.

Maxine’s adoption fee is $200 and you must live within 2 hours drive of Gulfport MS.
