Meet adoptable deaf dog Lucy who is looking for an adult only home with no other pets.
From her current caregiver: Lucy is almost 3 years old. I have had her since she was 4 months old. She is a loving dog, but very nervous. She is terrified of kids, and will growl out of fear. Although she has never bitten anyone, I am afraid that she will. She is excellent with adults. Never growling and will come to you to be petted after a little while. The problem I am experiencing is that she will bully smaller dogs. I recently had to adopt my moms small dogs. She bullies them and has pinned them to the ground. No blood was spilled, but again, I am afraid that is coming. I am heartbroken to have to give her up, but with the other dogs and my grand kids, it is a choice I have to make. If she is an only dog, and there are no kids in your home, she is a great companion. Her deafness has never been an issue. She wants to be around her master as much as possible, as she really is a good dog. She is fully housebroken, but she will have some excited pee when you first meet her.
