Meet adoptable deaf 3 month old puppy Lucy who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, make daily positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep her safe.
From her foster mom: Hi, I’m Lucy’s foster mom.
Miss Lucy was the runt of a litter of 4 parvo pups which we (Clifford’s Army) pulled from our county shelter to provide treatment.
I’ve had her and a littermate for a little over a week and she is a curious, independent little girl. She learned to sit before we even realized that she was deaf. She is very attentive and focused on absorbing with her eyes. I often catch her just sitting back and watching what her sister is doing. She enjoys being held, even on her back, when not busy exploring and climbing.
We’re still working on house training as I haven’t had her long and I’m a little slower with two.
***PLEASE NOTE: We require a home visit so our policy is 2 hour radius, roughly Charlotte to Asheville area***
I feature my fosters on a fb page if you wish to see videos of her:https://www.facebook.com/share/19Ta7asM2M/
