Meet adoptable deaf dog Harlo who is looking for a loving home with someone who will cherish her and always keep her safe.
From her rescue advocate: Harlo was born deaf on a farm in New Mexico. She suffered a broken shoulder at 10 months old from being hit by a farm vehicle. The bill was too much for her family, who chose instead to have her euthanized. Luckily, Good Samaritans stepped in and paid for the operation to put a pin in her shoulder. She healed well and the pin was removed. She walks with a limp but her leg is healing and should be fully functional. Despite a tough beginning, Harlo is a sweet girl who does well on a leash, but gets excited when we get ready to go and gets along with most other dogs. She is being cared for by AARF in Divide, and is ready to find her loving, forever home.
