Meet adoptable deaf 7.5 month old Catahoula mix puppy Halle who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, continue her positive reinforcement training/socialization, make her a part of the family and always keep her safety a priority. Halle could also be a Catahoula/English Pointer mix from her head and facial features. You can read more about English Pointers here.
From her caregiver: Halle is a mostly white bloodhound/ catahoula leopard mix. She has brown spots on her ears, and bright blue eyes. She is about 7-8 months old. She is a very sweet, loving girl and has a great temperament. She is energetic, but also loves to cuddle up to you and nap.
I found her at a Walmart parking lot last August when I was living in Flagstaff, AZ and have been fostering her since. I found out she was deaf soon after finding her, but that hasn’t stopped her from being an amazing dog. She is up to date with all her shots, micro-chipped and recently spayed on 2/19/20.
Halle is potty-trained, and has been taught some hand signals. She is a very smart girl, and I’m hoping to find her a home with a family that will love and care for her. She is great with other dogs, cats, and children.
Halle’s adoption fee is $75 and you must live within a three hour drive of Madison WI. If you are interested in adopting Halle, please contact Sarah so she can send you a blank adoption application to fill out.
