Meet adoptable sweet deaf dog Gypsy Rose who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her and always keep her safe.
From the shelter: Say hello to miss Gypsy Rose. She is a very playful sweet girl who came to our organization about 5 months ago. She came to us through the local county animal control where she had spent nearly 8 months. Before then there is not much history. She was found running loose with no owner. She was a staff favorite at the county shelter and when we took her in she knew her basic sit command. It wasn’t until she was with us for about 2 months that we noticed she couldn’t hear well and got her ears checked to our surprise she was deaf. This surprised us because she pays attention to you so well. She has played well with the other dogs at the shelter and has done amazing with all people.
Due to her large size and puppy like energy she may do best in a home with older kids and no cats. She has never shown aggression towards kids or cats but she does jump up on people and is very strong.
