Flip is an adoptable deaf 12 month old mix who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, teach him new things, take him on adventures and always keep him safe.

From his caregiver: Flip is about one year old and is full of energy. He weighs 25 pounds and although we do not know his breed, his long legs and the way he runs makes us think he could be mixed with a whippet (miniature greyhound). He was rescued in October 2020 from a kill shelter and was estimated to be about 15 weeks old at that point. Flip loves the outdoors but also loves a good cuddle on the couch or in bed. He would be best suited with a friend who could have him by their side as close to 24/7 as possible.

Flip loves the occasional popcorn bite and will show off his sass and his “whisper bark” if you aren’t shelling out fast enough. He likes to play fetch and sits pretty for treats, breakfast and dinner. He’s been with a family of four including a 6 year old girl and a 3 year old boy for the last year and has overcome a lot of anxiety in that time. It is believed that he came from an abusive situation and it has taken time to get him to become less skittish. We believe that now is a good time and that he is ready for his forever home with his forever family.
