Feta is a one year old deaf and (mostly) blind spayed female. The shelter we pulled her from had her listed as an Aussie, but we think she looks and acts much more like a Border Collie, so your guess is as good as ours! Feta is springy and affectionate and loves to ZOOM! She has an adorable little spotted mustache and loves to cuddle with her people.

Feta is working through some behavioral challenges and confidence building with us, and her new family will need to give her time to adjust to a new environment.

Feta does well with most other cats and other dogs, but will need time to adjust to pets in a new home because she is a bit anxious. We are not sure of her complete past but believe she likely had some bad experiences with dogs or humans. She trusts people easily but is still somewhat skittish. She does tend to run in to other dogs, so would do best with dogs that are more laid back and don’t mind their space being accidentally invaded from time to time. For this reason, we would also like to see her in a home without small children.

Feta is looking for an active home within a few hours of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
