Meet adoptable deaf 2 year old Domino who is looking for a loving forever home with no other pets, with someone who will cherish her, become her new best friend and always keep her safe.

From her caregiver: Domino is probably just shy of 2 years old. She a medium size terrier mix, and weighs about 35 lbs. She has been spayed, micro-chipped, and is up to date on all vaccinations (including canine influenza).

Domino is a beautiful, loving girl with lots of energy! She is great with people, and she is especially fond of kids! Unfortunately, she is less than thrilled with dogs, and is very serious about cat chasing, so she is looking for a pet free home where she can become someone’s center of love and attention.Domino’s magnificent, satellite-dish ears are purely decorative. She is completely deaf, but that doesn’t stop her from being trained! She knows the hand sign commands for “sit”, “down”, “wait”, “watch me”, “shake”, “come”, “crawl”, “no”, and (her favorite) “good girl”. We have started basic scent work training and some agility. She has a great aptitude for both!

Besides being deaf, she also has epilepsy and anxiety, both of which are controlled by medication. She will need simple blood work every 6 months, and she is on a low-fat diet to keep her poops normal (higher fat foods tend to give her tummy trouble), but other than that she is a lean, athletic, healthy lady!

Domino Likes:
Any and all water (bath, hose, shower, sink, rain, etc…)
Frozen blueberries
Long walks
Collecting sticks on long walks
Car rides
Shopping at Home Depot
Movie night snuggles
Belly rubs
Sloppy kisses
Rope toys and anything that bounces
Shredding cardboard (she makes fitting stuff in the recycling bin a breeze)
Snoozing in a good patch of sunny grass
Playing scent work games

Domino Dislikes:
Most other dogs
Not being allowed to chase cats
Not being allowed to shred the kid’s stuffies
Being crated (but she is fine loose in her room)

Domino comes with a reflective harness and 6ft leash, a collar with a waterproof Tile tag, a large bag of her preferred food, a bucketful of toys, her favorite outdoor chair, a drawer full of sweaters, a comfy winter coat, and an adorable skeleton sweater.
