Meet adoptable deaf 18 month old Diamond who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, make daily positive reinforcement touch training/enrichment a priority and always keep her safe. She looks like an American Bulldog mix or an English Bulldog mix.
From her advocate: At just 18 months old, Diamond is a petite girl who was born mostly blind and deaf. But if you spend even a few minutes with her, you realize: she’s not defined by what she lacks — she’s defined by her spirit.
Diamond doesn’t just get by — she thrives.
In her first afternoon in foster care, she found every toy, conquered the stairs with ease, explored the backyard by feel and scent, and curled up in a pile of sunbeams like she’d been there forever. She navigates her world with incredible intuition, and once she maps her environment, she moves confidently and joyfully.
She’s also a social butterfly!
Diamond has already made fast friends with her foster family’s shy resident dog, showing a gentle, playful side that brings out the best in everyone she meets. Whether it’s a spirited game of chase or a cozy snuggle session on the couch, Diamond is all in.
Diamond would thrive in a patient, loving home ready to celebrate her special needs as the incredible strengths they are. She’s looking for someone who will embrace her sense of adventure, her boundless affection, and her unstoppable resilience.
This tiny girl has a giant heart — and she’s ready to give it fully to her forever family.
If you’re looking for a companion who will inspire you every single day, Diamond is ready to meet you.
Come find out why everyone who meets her calls her pure magic.
