Meet adoptable deaf dog Daisy who is a 3 year old looking for a loving home with someone who will cherish her and always keep her safe.
From her caregiver: Daisy is a super soft white deaf bully mix with beautiful blue eyes. She is a lean 52 pounds, around 3 years old, spayed and chipped.
She was found on a busy street with one puppy. She was brought to shelter where her puppy was quickly adopted. She was there about 6 weeks when she developed kennel stress and was going to be euthanized. She has had some time to decompress.
This happy girl is house trained and will bark to go outside. Daisy is very friendly and is always happy to meet people. She is ok with most dogs with slow introduction. She is learning sign language and knows sit, shake, down, come and no. She is an indoor dog and loves to sleep with her person. Daisy is very athletic and enjoys running in safe areas. She is able to jump a 6 foot fence so needs to be supervised when outside.
We are continuing to work on her leash manners.
Daisy has separation anxiety. She needs to be crated when left alone and this is stressful for her. We are continuing to work with her on this. So she would like a home where her person is retired or works from home. Right now she lives with 2 big dogs and gets along with them most of the time but would prefer to have all the attention on her. She likes kids but older kids/teens would be best. This wonderful girl can’t wait to find her forever home.
Daisy’s adoption fee is $250 and you must live within a three hours drive time of San Jose, CA. If you are interested in adopting Daisy, please email Lisa.
