Meet adoptable deaf 3 year old Catahoula mix Clyde who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will love him be his new BFF and always keep him safe.
From the Rescue: Clyde is a sweet and silly 3 year old Catahoula Hound mix located at Darbster Doggy in Chichester, New Hampshire. Clyde spent his first few years of life used as a hog hunting dog in South Florida. When he was no longer of use to his owners, they abandoned him, emaciated and undersocialized. An amazing foster with 5 other dogs worked with him until it was time for him to get sent up to NH to find his forever home.
Clyde bonds deeply with the people he cares about. We see him excelling in a house with a lot of land, ideally a fenced-in yard where he can get his energy out. He does get along with other dogs (even went to doggy daycare twice a week) and could possibly live with another social dog.
He is not cat friendly due to his hog hunting experience. He needs someone who is willing to be firm with him and willing to work with his deafness.
Clyde loves to snuggle and playing in pools. He’s just a goofy guy that deserves a second chance.
