Meet adoptable deaf catahoula mix puppy Carpet (DOB 7/9/18) who is looking for a loving home with someone who will cherish her, make positive reinforcement training/socialization the highest priority and always keep her safe.
From her current caregiver: We saw Carpet at the local animal shelter and thought she was so unique. Her litter mates had already been adopted and she was left alone. My partner and I decided to foster her and search for a family instead of leaving it up to the fate of the shelter. She is very curious, playful, and loves exploring the outdoors.
While fostering her, we noticed that she does not respond to any sounds, regardless of the volume or the nature of them. We want to find a good home for her and make sure that her new family knows what they are in for.
She is currently still too young to adopt by a couple weeks, but we are trying to have a family lined up for when her adoption time comes. At that point, she will be spayed and have all of her vaccines at that point.
