Meet adoptable, 1.5 year old, deaf Australian Shepherd/border collie Candy who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, teach her new things and always keep her safe.
From her advocate: Candy is extremely sweet, energetic, and full of love. She enjoys snuggling, playing ball, playing tug and almost anything else as long as she can be by your side. Candy is deaf, which she has no clue about, and she loves to learn new things. She already knows how to shake paw, roll over, sit pretty, come and wait.
I continue to work on more commands. Candy was neglected and abused prior to People for Pets rescuing her. She had a horrific neck wound that is now completely healed, and she had blisters on all 4 feet, now all healed as well.
Candy is loving life and she responds to hand signals, leash cues, & light cues. She’s very smart and picks up training strategies easily. Candy is about 2 years old, house trained, crate trained, microchipped, spayed, and current on vaccines.
