Meet adoptable deaf/blind Australian Shepherd Calista who is looking for a special home with someone who will cherish her, continue teaching her touch cues, become her new best friend and always keep her safe.

From her shelter advocate: Calista is a young girl approximately 1-2 years old. She was brought to the shelter as a found dog, and we believe that she was likely born blind and deaf. She is an Australian shepherd and has the energy, drive, and anxiety of her breed.

Calista is incredibly intelligent and has picked up touch commands very easily. We know that she will shine in the right home who have the time to help her learn to navigate the world. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccines and preventative medication.
