Meet beautiful deaf 6 month old girl Arabella who is hoping to find her forever family with someone who will cherish her, continue her training, keep her active, and always keep her safe. Arabella is on the small side at only 36 pounds.
From Annie with Pets Lifeline: Arabella is sweet and cute as a button. As with some white dogs and cats, she is almost entirely deaf. Deaf dogs can be trained to do all the same things as their hearing brothers and sisters with some simple modifications.
Arabella is in a foster home where she is learning house manners and to walk politely on leash. She has learned signs for “sit” and “down”, “touch” and “come”. He foster mom says she is coming along very nicely with her lessons.
Every person she meets is an instant friend and she gets along wonderfully with her three canine foster sisters. She also has enjoyed play sessions with some of the other young dogs at the shelter.
Arabella would do best with a guardian who has experience with a deaf dog or someone who is willing to learn about her special needs. She is a smart puppy and loves to learn so will enjoy training. Because she is young and energetic, she requires daily exercise and lots of attention.
Do you have room in your heart and your home for this special girl?
