Meet adoptable one year old deaf dog Angel who is looking for a home with someone who will make her a priority, be committed to positive reinforcement training, get her the exercise/enrichment she needs, love her and always keep her safe.
From her current caregiver: Angel is a gorgeous deaf 13 1/2 month old white-coated hair with blue eyes and feminine facial features and bunny ears! I found her abandoned on the street as a puppy wandering around DEAF and frightened. Angel is spayed, up to date on her routine vaccinations, micro-chipped and lovable petite 42 pound girl. When she was little she was always carried around in her designer doggy bag till she outgrew it. My daughter and I were hit in a serious car accident and I’m having surgery. She grew up with 4 dogs ages from 4- 9 1/2 years old and from 60 -120 pounds. Since the car accident and not being able to do pack walks, proper exercise her,and spend enough time with her she is now very hyper and has to be crated because she jumps on my other dogs. The other dogs in our home growl and since she is deaf, she doesn’t know to stop getting in their faces and I’m afraid because she’s so small compared to them she could be hurt.
She never was crated at all and always slept on the couch and chewed nothing but rawhide and kong’s. She loves to be loved with hugs and kisses, carried around, she is a lap dog and loves to get her nails buzzed/grinded down with a dremmel not cut with clippers. She loves going for car rides and she sleeps in her dog bed in front seat. She likes being dressed up in dog clothes. If on schedule goes to bathroom in yard or wee-wee pad trained.
Angel loves everyone and she loves kids but I would say older children now because of her higher energy level.
I would love for her to go to a home where she is someone’s number one priority. Someone who will train her, get her the exercise and enrichment she needs, love her and always keep her safe.
Angel needs a forever home to be spoiled like she was and have someone with lots of love and patience who will be willing to re-train her with hand signals. She’s a special little lady with a big heart. If something happened I would always take her back no questions asked that’s how much we love her.
Since Angel is fully vetted, spayed and healthy there is a $150 adoption fee which will help keep her safe. The caregiver will ask you to fill out an adoption application so please email Lauren at Pitbulllover132@aol.com
You must also live within 1.5 hours of Ridgewood NY and agree to return Angel back to her caregiver if you are approved for adoption and the adoption does not work out.
