Albany is an adoptable 1.5 year old, Staffordshire Terrier mix who is pretty much all love, all the time and she is looking for a loving family who will cherish her and keep her safe.

She is a happy, smart young dog who is a firm favorite with shelter volunteers and staff.

Albany’s many talents include swimming, playing fetch, playing with other dogs and figuring out sign commands. She is a quick learner and is always eager to please, particularly if there are treats involved. She has already had made good progress on learning basic obedience signs. She sometimes gets anxious in new situations but is quickly reassured by the presence of someone she knows and trusts, so good first introductions are key.

She loves soft toys, going for walks and car rides and snuggling. She is incredibly curious about anything and everything!

Albany received excellent comments from her previous trial sleepovers with potential adopters, helping us understand that she need an active family and dog friends who can keep up with her love of life!
