Update: Scout has been ADOPTED!
Meet cute little Scout. He is a purebred Boston Terrier puppy located in Winnemucca Nevada. His current mom who bred her female is looking for a very special home for Scout. Scout is deaf. He will need a family with a very secure fenced yard, time to put him into puppy class and group training class so he can learn his sign commands. Pam his current mom is looking for a patient and loving family that will be Scout’s advocate and always keep him safe. Boston Terriers are high energy dogs and add the fact that Scout is deaf, his adoption is not for the faint of heart. So if you think you have all of these qualities and can give Scout the wonderful life he deserves, then Scout might just be the boy for you.
If you are interested in Scout please contact Pam Yeates at pkyeates@yahoo.com
She did not mention how much the adoption fees or shipping costs so you will need to send her an email if you have questions.
Thank you…Christina Lee – Deaf Dogs Rock

Scout is so cute, if he was a girl I would jump at the chance to have another deaf Boston. Training a deaf dog isn’t as hard as people think. Having the husband agree two dogs are more fun may be……….
Oh my goodness what a sweety! This site is going to tug on my heart strings for sure.
I would grab him if he was closer!!! I am in Iowa.
I’d love 2.
So adorable, I’m interested in adopting Scout. Is he still available?
What a doll! Experienced deaf dog owner (I have an 8yr old f boxer)in Dallas…very interested
Did he find a home?
He is still available. $200 adoption fee plus shipping.
Is Scout still available? I tried to teach his foster mom via email but it wont go through… Can you please follow up if he is still available or not? thanks a much!
I was able to contact her via email. She responded right away. This was on the 5th of December, and he was still available at that time.
I was wondering how big Scout will get? How old is Scout. Has there been any signs taught?
Kim you will need to contact the contact person on Scout’s listing. He is probably about 6 months old now and as of the 5th of Dec. he was still available. Thanks! Christina Lee – DDR
I have a deaf Boston Terrier. While I can’t take Scout (and trust me, I’ve been working on my husband for this dog since I first saw him in July), if anyone has any questions about having a deaf Boston, how WONDERFUL they are, or training tips, feel free to contact me at bleibering@gmail.com. I hope he finds a great home!
