This is a good example of signing with dogs (be sure to watch Alisha McGraw’s video we have posted for the actual hand signals). The only thing I disagree with in this video is we don’t push the dogs rear down for a sit, instead we hold a treat right above their nose and they figure out on their own if they sit they get the treat. Same thing for the down. You can hold the treat on the ground under your hand until the dog figures out if he lays down he gets rewarded. The video is a good example how easy it is to teach a deaf dog signs.
