Update: 6-19-2012: We got a message that Captain Jack has been adopted and his adopted family is just crazy over him. Congratulations Jack!
Meet Captain Jack. Isn’t he so handsome? From the Fayette Friends of Animals staff: Captain Jack was found as a stray. He is such a sweet dog. He is hearing impaired. He doesn’t seem to hear most sounds. He has been hanging out in the office with a couple other dogs. Captain Jack loves kids and toys. He doesn’t seem to mind cats also. He seems to get along with some dogs. If you have a dog we would suggest you bring them to meet Jack.
Because Captain Jack is deaf it will take a patient and loving family to train him to hand signals for basic commands. It is also very important that he lives inside with his family but has a fenced yard to play in and stay safe. If you think you have these qualifications to offer Jack a secure and loving home then please contact the Fayette Friends of Animals Rescue listed below.
