Lance – VA – ADOPTED

Update: 1-22-2013: Lance has been ADOPTED!

Lance is located in Richmond, VA and he is an Australian Cattle Dog. Lance is special needs because he is deaf. Lance is a lover and a charmer, with a very sweet disposition. He’s is a very handsome, unique looking young male mixed breed who is now almost trhree years old and weighs 46 pounds. He has a nice easy medium energy level but does get excited to see people, where he tends to jump up. He’ll require training with hand cues and he can do this as he loves to earn to earn treats ,and has larned a few cues from volunteers.

Lance will need that special home and person to be committed to working with him. He likes to play and loves to be with someone and be engaged in play with toys and with other dogs. He chews when bored and needs correction and options. Lance is smart and stays near your side and will sit and walk nicely on leash. Lance loves going for long walks and has been good on leash with volunteers. Initially he might pull due to his excitement of being out, but after that he is great. He is sweet and friendly, loves people and and is good with other dogs and can be very playful.
